While doing school visits, I've gotten asked a LOT of questions. Here are just some...

Q. What is your favourite book/author?
I'm not sure what my favourite book is as it changes a lot depending on my mood. I always loved Matilda growing up; it's got everything Roald Dahl is known for - outlandish characters, horrible adults and bright children. But it's also a fantastic fantasy story. It's Carrie for kids!
It's much easier to pick my favourite author however. Hands down, it's Neil Gaiman. He's written novels, comics, poetry, TV shows, movies; the list goes on. But through all of his work, there is such a strong knowledge and love of storytelling that I love. I wrote a blog about him a while ago explaining in more detail why I love his work so much.

Q. Will you make 'Arthur Quinn' into a movie?
I'd love there to be a movie. But realistically it won't happen for years. It would take a few hundred million to make it so if anyone reading this feels up to the challenge, they're free to get in contact with me!

Q. Who is your favourite character in the book?
I know it's a cliche, but I do like them all. That said, my favourite character to write has to be Loki. He's just so deliciously twisted. It's always fun to write the villains. But as much as I like writing Loki, my favourite character would have to be Ash. She goes through a real journey throughout the series and by the third book she's a real hero. (That's all I'm saying about the third book for now!)
